Pamlico Packing Company is one of the oldest and most successful seafood companies in North Carolina. It was founded in 1941 by Earl H. Holton and started out as an oyster, fish, and crab house. The company was sold to Ed Cross, who had a love for the local fishing and culture in 1977. Today the Pamlico Packing Company is a success story, as they have evolved with the times, delivering fresh and frozen seafood to restaurant owners and retailers from South Carolina to New York.
